John A. Mannisi, M.D., F.A.C.C.Dr. John Mannisi received his undergraduate and medical degree at Johns Hopkins University. He subsequently completed his internal medicine and cardiovascular medicine fellowships at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Mannisi was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. There he served as the Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the University Hospital, Stony Brook. Dr. Mannisi is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He was a Clinical Research Investigator for the National Institutes of Health. Serving on the editorial board for the "Journal of American College of Cardiology" and "Circulation," Dr. Mannisi is well published on mechanisms on myocardial infarct expansion. Dr. Mannisi currently resides in Bethlehem with his wife, Barbara, and their two children. Classical architecture and tennis occupy his spare time. |
