Lehigh Valley Cardiology Associates is a leading and innovative cardiology practice located in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. Founded over 20 years ago, it remains a strong, growing independent practice and employs over 50 support staff. Lehigh Valley Cardiology Associates is the only comprehensive cardiology group in Bethlehem providing full service in both local hospitals.
Lehigh Valley Cardiology Associates, a group practice dedicated to the treatment and prevention of heart disease throughout the Lehigh Valley and surrounding region, is committed to providing comprehensive personalized cardiology by employing the latest technologies and highest standards of services to its patients and referral physicians.
This group cardiology practice was formed by Dr. Robert H. Biggs in 1986 as a non-invasive cardiology and internal medicine practice. Dr. Kenneth P. Skorinko joined LVCA in 1987 to provide general invasive and interventional services for the practice. Dr. John Mannisi and Dr. Anthony Urbano joined LVCA as interventional cardiologists in 1990. The year 1996 brought the addition of Dr. Praveer Jain who added his expertise in cardiac electrophysiology to the group. As LVCA continued to grow, Dr. Kenneth Bernhard joined as an associate. In 1999, Dr. Nadeem Ahmad, Dr. George Persin, and Dr. Deborah Sundlof, each of whom specialize in non-invasive cardiology, joined LVCA. The newest associates joining LVCA are: non-invasive cardiologist Dr. Ibrahim Elgabry (2007), interventionalist Dr. Anil Gupta (2008), electrophysiologist Dr. Hari P. Joshi (2008) and interventionalist Dr. Karthik Sheka (2008). December 2008 brought the addition of our Pocono location founded by Dr. Patricia Rylko who specializes in invasive and non-invasive cardiology.
